Collection spans the dates 1927-1985, with publication dates ranging 1889-1959.

Records range in date from 1922-1957 and consist of correspondence, teaching notes, files on faculty members, scrapbooks, miscellaneous items; and financial, attendance, and grade reports. The materials document the policies, functions, finances, activities, students, and curriculum of the institution.

Research notes, drafts, transcipts of interviews, and correspondence. The materials relate to Stoddard's research into the life and career of Frances Elliott Clark, a music teacher and author in Indiana and Utah. Stoddard's research led to his dissertation on Clark.

This collection contains sheet music, newspaper clippings, research notes, recital programs, lectures, and correspondence. The items largely relate to Lotta Van Buren activities in restoring old musical instruments and in teaching about music history and theory.
