Ebenezer Beesley papers
C. C. A. Christensen autobiography and biographies
Typewritten copies of biographies and clippings relating to C. C. A. Christensen (1831-1912). Also included is an autobiography of Christensen that has been translated from the original Danish. Christensen is the most noted Mormon artist who documented much of the Mormon experience through his paintings. He also painted murals to decorate Mormon meeting houses and temples.
Edwin Charles Cox papers
Handwritten notes, musical scores, an obituary, and excerpts from an autobiography. Cox writes mostly about his life in England during the 1830s and 1840s. His writings include a "Dialogue between Joseph Smith and the Devil."
Foreword to a life story
Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography of John L. Seymour who taught at Sacramento Junior College for 24 years, produced and directed many plays, composed operas and chamber music. He later moved to Cedar City, Utah after the death of his mother and established a memorial library for her at Southern Utah State College. He discusses the operas he wrote and describes his philosophy of life.
Leola G. Merrill papers
Consists primarily of personal papers documenting Merrill's authorship of numerous Mormon-themed dramas and programs, but also contains the personal papers and/or memorabilia of her husband, David M. Merrill, her parents, Luman Peter and Veda Jane Walker Green, and David's father, Amos N. Merrill. Materials dated 1911-2002.
The Vans : Van Wagenen, Van Wagoner, 1964 : also, Epperson's collection of treasures
Typewritten autobiography. Epperson writes about his life and career as a teacher and as a musician. He played the violin and composed music. He was raised in Midway, Utah but later live in Provo, Utah. Also included are mimeographed copies of songs written by him.
