This collection contains personal and professional correspondence many of which are letters of gratitude, research, book lists, articles concerning, and copies of "The Viola and Its Interpreters Discography", by François de Beaumont, 1920-1976.

Collection contains letters, account books, photographs, publications of magazines and music, programs, and advertisements, all collected by Jay Greaves Burrup. Dated 1897-2001.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains materials donated by Rudolf Frick, dating from 1986 to 1996. A large majority of the collection consists of files on harpists and other prominent musicians such as Catherine Michel, Carrol McLaughlin, and Alice Giles. Files contain photographs, correspondence, and articles about or by the person on the label. This collection also includes various harp publications and journals that Rudolf was associated with.

The collection contains letters, newspaper clippings, photographs, books, articles, concert programs, correspondence, and World Harp Congress harp publications collected by Sylvia Meyer throughout her career as a harpist. Approximate dates range from 1930 to 2001. The items are associated with the American Harp Society. It also contains directories, notes, and certificates regarding members of the American Harp Society.

Collection contains materials collected by Maurice Riley throughout his career as a violist. Dates range from approximately 1951 to 1995. It includes correspondence with other musicians and composers, research, publications promoting the viola and education, videos, photographs, and music journals. Also contains materials from various viola congresses he attended.

Diaries, a scrapbook, newspaper clippings, essays, poems, correspondence, a biography, a published book with handwritten corrections, and a film strip. The materials deal with Robinson's dancing, music, and educational careers. The diaries are in six volumes and relate to Robinson's mission for the Mormon Church in Colorado.

Scope and Contents The Ellis Schuman collection (1969-2006) include personal correspondence, Schuman's published works, both original works and arrangments for harp. Contains CD recorded interviews of Schuman, Alberto Salvi, Marie Ludwig, and Alice Chalifoux. The collection also includes autographed photos of Marie Ludwig and Mildred Dilling, as well as photographs of Schuman and other prominent harpists. Scope and Contents This collection includes a variety of materials pertaining to music and primarily, the harp. The materials include manuscripts, periodicals, concert programs, and a letter from Lyon and Healy. The manuscripts include both handwritten copies of published pieces and arrangements of popular songs for the harp. The periodicals include complete issues and clippings of individual articles. The programs are from harp concerts but also plays, folk dance teams, and other various performing groups....

Collection includes Franz Zeyringer's personal correspondence, articles, and magazines, and booklets relating to the viola and Zeyringer's viola career, 1963-1993.
