Scope and Contents

Collection is composed of 69 lantern slides dating from approximately 1888 to 1950. The majority of the slides are photographs of paintings by John Hafen. There are also two slides of a painting by Rose Hartwell and two slides of paintings by John Hafen's son, Virgil Hafen. There are also two portraits on John Hafen, one by Will Vawter and the other photographer not identified. There is also a photograph taken by George Edward Anderson of John Hafen's son, Joseph, and John's wife, Thora.

Contains correspondence, photographs, paintings, and commercial art designs from Eddington's career as a graphic designer, artist, and faculty member at the University of Utah Art Department and the Brigham Young University Design Department. Materials cover the period from the 1940s through 2007.

Collection contains materials gathered by Rell G. Francis in the course of his research on Elfie Huntington. These materials include original photographs and negatives from Elfie Huntington, copies of her original photographs, letters to and from people that knew Elfie Huntington, other materials from individuals that knew Elfie Huntington, and notes and manuscripts from Rell G. Francis from the course of his research. Materials dated approximatley 1900-2012.

Scope and Contents Contains newspaper clippings, radio broadcast programs, reproductions of paintings, correspondence, diary entries, pamphlets, and miscellaneous items. The materials deal with Grover's career as a broadcaster and as an artist. Also includes photographs of Grover, David O. McKay, Spencer W. Kimball, and Marion G. Romney. Abstract

Collection contains materials relating to Huish's careers as a photographer and composer. The collection includes cameras and photographic equipment as well as Huish's sheet music and poetry. The collection dates from circa 1885 to 1966.

Includes six mixed media boxes containing artwork by Evan Jensen. The collection dates from circa 1920 to 1980.

Scope and Contents

Materials include 225 photographs and 120 duplicates, for a total of 345 slides. 301 of these slides are photographs that may have been B.F. Larsen, the artist, of his paintings between approximately 1943 and 1966. The other 44 slides are landscape photographs taken throughout Utah between approximately 1943 and 1966.

Contains book entitled "Paintings by B.F. Larsen with Table of Contents and Index, compiled by Eugene C Larsen." Contains information on the paintings of B.F. Larsen, including each painting's name, date, size, medium, and current owner at the time of the book's compilation. Paintings date betwen 1914 and 1954 and include scenes from western Europe and Utah. Materials dated 1986.

A black-and-white gelatin silver photograph titled, "Mormon Temple, Manti Utah" by Ansel Adams. The back of the photograph identifies it as "Print no. 4 of set no. 24 of Portfolio One by Ansel Adams, 1948."

Scope and Contents

Contains primarily original prints of photographs by Savage, covering all periods of his career. Of the 839 items, over 750 are clearly Savage photographs. Eighteen other photographers are also named, including Alfred A. Hart, Edw. J. Muybridge, and possibly Carleton E. Watkins photograph. Includes landscapes in Utah and the West, with many in Salt Lake City. Also includes portraits, many of leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with many of Brigham Young.
