Capturing the past : an oral history workshop for film and video
Fifteen video tapes of the seminar "Capturing the Past: an Oral History Workshop for Film and Video", filmed on July 26-29, 1994 at the LDS Motion Picture Studio, sponsored by the Audio-Visual department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The collection includes a list of the tape's contents and a packet outlining the workshop schedule and material to be discussed. The tapes contain tips on oral history interviews, documentary clip examples, and tools of the trade.
Cedar Breaks
Two typewritten manuscripts of the story "Cedar Breaks." Each of the versions contains the fictional story of a Mormon family in Cedar City, Utah practicing polygamy. The story was published in 1976 under the title, "Zion Town."

Louisa Chamberlain : a youthful pioneer
Typewritten story with handwritten corrections. The story is a fictionalized account of a young woman living in New Harmony, Utah. In the item, Chamberlain tells about her life in nineteenth century Utah.
Martha A. Chavez papers
Contains newspaper clippings about Chavez, or newspaper clippings she is quoted in. It also contains her journal dated 1972 to 1999, a family calendar created by Chavez, some papers regarding spiritual experiences and dreams that she had, and two binders of the conversion stories and testimonies of the Relief Society sisters and youth of her ward.

Thomas E. Cheney papers
Twenty reel-to-reel tapes which record folk songs, typescripts of the recorded folk songs in two volumes, four volumes of folk songs, and one volume of Mormon folk tales. The materials relate largely to Mormon folklore and Mormon folk songs.
George N. Child newspaper clippings
Newspaper clippings and autobiographical notes. The materials relate to Child's teaching career and to his family.
C. C. A. Christensen autobiography and biographies
Typewritten copies of biographies and clippings relating to C. C. A. Christensen (1831-1912). Also included is an autobiography of Christensen that has been translated from the original Danish. Christensen is the most noted Mormon artist who documented much of the Mormon experience through his paintings. He also painted murals to decorate Mormon meeting houses and temples.
