Benjamin Chambers Brown letter

Scope and Contents Letter from Benjamin C. Brown to Miss Mae Huntington, dated 16 April, 1936. The letter thanks Huntington for her letter to him from 12 April concerning his health and sending him a copy of a catalog for an exhibition show Huntington was involved with in Los Angeles. It also contains details from Brown's trip with his brother, Howell, to Europe.

Collection of lantern slides of art

Scope and Contents Collection is composed of 69 lantern slides dating from approximately 1888 to 1950. The majority of the slides are photographs of paintings by John Hafen. There are also two slides of a painting by Rose Hartwell and two slides of paintings by John Hafen's son, Virgil Hafen. There are also two portraits on John Hafen, one by Will Vawter and the other photographer not identified. There is also a photograph taken by George Edward Anderson of John Hafen's son, Joseph, and John's wife, Thora.

John Hafen papers

Overview This collection consists of correspondence, a diary of John's wife, Thora Hafen (January 1901-May 1901), a notebook, certificates, family genealogies, mementos, illustrated programs of Hafen's art exhibits, and newspaper clippings which laud Hafen's art. Part of the collection was represented in a catalog entitled A Step Beyond: Artist's Archives and Creative Process, presented by the Special Collections and Archives and Manuscripts of Brigham Young University, 1987.

William Henry Jackson papers

Scope and Contents The collection includes multiple typescripts of two journals (1866-1867), correspondence (1924-1953), book manuscripts, news clippings (1929-1966), and mementos from Jackson's round-the-world trip for the World Transportation Commission (1894-1896).
