Duwayne Leroy Anderson missionary papers

Scope and Contents Materials contain papers dated from 1922 to 1925, which include a mission journal and accompanying transcription, missionary meeting notes, "Swiss and German Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" LDS Church directory, and photograph and postcard albums. All these things were created in conjunction with Anderson's missionary service in Germany from 1922 to 1925.

Lorraine Morton Ashton collection on Ermel J. Morton

Scope and Contents Collection consists of papers relating to the dictionary Ermel J. Morton, a Mormon missionary who went to Tonga, created from English to Tongan and Tongan to English, his accounts of his mission and translating the Book of Mormon, a history of his wife, a catalog of his materials from home, a typed copy of the talks at his funeral and a Tongan grammar book. There is also a book written about the time the family spent in Tonga.

Scope and Contents Contains a Luther Bible, an Triple Combination (Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price) from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and The Voice of Warning, all in German. Also includes a daily appointment book, in German and English. Dated approximately 1938-1940.

George R. Blake papers

Scope and Contents Contains materials relating to Blake's life during the war and his mission. Includes a tyepwritten history of Blake's correspondence with a German prisoner of war, a letter in German, a history of prisoners of war in Orem during World War II, images of some of these prisoners, and a history of the end of Blake's mission to Germany. Dated 1943-2009.

Frederick A. Caine photographs of Japanese Mormons

Scope and Contents Frederick A. Caine collected these five photographs during his mission to Japan for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints circa 1902-1904. Three of the photographs are other missionaries in the field, two of the photographs presumably depict members of the church in Japan. Interpretation of the Japanese characters on the photographs indicates that these are collected by (or given to) Frederick A. Caine during his time as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints...

William Farrer diaries and letters

Scope and Contents Contains seven handwritten volumes, plus typescripts which focus on Farrer's Hawaiian Mission, 1850-1854. Volume one contains accounts of his work in the California gold fields prior to his mission call. Volume seven is entirely in the Hawaiian language. Also included are photocopies of typescripts of 71 letters written to and by Farrer when he served in the Hawaiian Islands.

Hagop Gagosian papers

Scope and Contents Contains the Armenian Bible of Hagop Gagosian, a typescript of an autobiography of Hagop Gagosian from 1939 translated into English, an Armenian language book that belonged to John Taylor Woodbury, Jr. (Gagosian's son-in-law and a missionary in Turkey), and a CD with scanned images of parts of the Bible and language book plus translations.
