This typescript is 60 pages long, and there are many gaps in the record. Neibaur writes about leaving England for the United States. Scope and Contents
Photocopies of a typescript of a diary. Pearce migrated to Utah in 1851. She went by way of New Orleans, Louisiana, and St. Louis, Missouri. She gives details on the trek to Utah. She lived in Ogden, Utah. There is a gap in the diary from 1852 to 1868. Pearce moved to California in 1869.

A blessing given by Joseph F. Smith to Lucy P. Russel, with Daniel H. Wells assisting, setting her apart for calling as a midwife in Utah. Smith was the 2nd Counselor in the Mormon Church's First Presidencey at the time of the blessing.
