Typewritten and handwritten autobiography reproduced by a mimeograph process. Day tells about her family's difficulties during the Great Depression. Her father lost his farm and once collapsed at work from lack of food. She was married in 1942 and lived in Highland and Heber City, Utah with her husband.

Scope and Contents Contains typed copies of a diary, biographies, autobiographies, and miscellaneous items. Neibaur kept his diary from 1841 to 1861. This typescript is 60 pages long, and there are many gaps in the record. Neibaur writes about leaving England for the United States. He lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, and later migrated to Utah in 1847 where he lived in Salt Lake City. In her autobiography, Parkinson writes about her life in Utah and Idaho, the polygamous marriage of her husband, and her attitude towards the Mormon Church. Also included is a brief biographical statement of Parkinson's daughter telling of Ellen's last years. The two letters are from Isaac B. Jean Rio Griffiths Baker Pearce diary

Scope and Contents

Photocopies of a typescript of a diary. Pearce migrated to Utah in 1851. She went by way of New Orleans, Louisiana, and St. Louis, Missouri. She gives details on the trek to Utah. She lived in Ogden, Utah. There is a gap in the diary from 1852 to 1868. Pearce moved to California in 1869.

Olive Andelin Potter autobiography

Photocopy of a typewritten autobiography. The item was dictated in 1932. Olive married Wallace Edwin Potter in 1884 as a plural wife. She lived in numerous places in Utah especially when dodging federal officials. Olive gives her opinion on polygamy.

Priesthood blessing upon Lucy P. Russel

A blessing given by Joseph F. Smith to Lucy P. Russel, with Daniel H. Wells assisting, setting her apart for calling as a midwife in Utah. Smith was the 2nd Counselor in the Mormon Church's First Presidencey at the time of the blessing.
