Henry William Bigler diary

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typescript. The item is "extracts from missionary experiences. Copied from original diary owned by Delbert Bigler, Provo, Utah." Brief history of Brigham Morris Young

Scope and Contents Typewritten biography of Brigham Morris Young. B. M. Young was a businessman who served two missions to Hawaii (1873-1875 and 1883) and helped organize the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Associations in numerous places for the Mormon Church. He married Armeda Snow who was the daughter of the fifth president of the Mormon Church, Lorenzo Snow (1814-1901).

William Farrer diaries and letters

Scope and Contents Contains seven handwritten volumes, plus typescripts which focus on Farrer's Hawaiian Mission, 1850-1854. Volume one contains accounts of his work in the California gold fields prior to his mission call. Volume seven is entirely in the Hawaiian language. Also included are photocopies of typescripts of 71 letters written to and by Farrer when he served in the Hawaiian Islands.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a typescript of a handwritten diary by Irvin F. Fisher. He writes about his experiences as a missionary, describes Christmas on the Islands, gives a description of the Kilauea Volcano on the Big Island, and tells of the overthrow of the Hawaiian Queen by British and American Troops.
