A photocopy of a typed transcript of a letter addressed to Brigham Young by Andrus (1854) in which he gives an account of the Mormons in St. Louis, Missouri. Also included is a photocopy of a biography of Milo Andrus by Gary L. Pickell (1979). William Frank Atkin papers

Scope and Contents Correspondence, diaries, and a biography. The diaries relate to Atkin's missions to New Zealand from 1903 to 1906 and from 1916 to 1918. The correspondence is from family members and friends and largely relates to family matters and to Atkin's missionary activities. The biography is a history of Atkin's father, Thomas Atkin (1833-1919), who was a Mormon pioneer that was active in Tooele County politics. Autobiography of Elder James Ferguson Bell, including a history of the Malta Mission

Scope and Contents Typescript copy of the original autobiography by Bell, describing his life between April 1827 to March 1855. The document also contains information about the work of Bell during his presidency in the Malta Mission from 1853 to 1855. Original document was written in Pitman shorthand. The transcription is dated November 1998.

The biography of Willard Bean relates his missionary experiences for the Mormon Church in the Southern States, 1882-1884. The other items emphasize Alvin Bean's experiences in Palmyra.

Brief history of Brigham Morris Young

Scope and Contents Typewritten biography of Brigham Morris Young. B. M. Young was a businessman who served two missions to Hawaii (1873-1875 and 1883) and helped organize the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Associations in numerous places for the Mormon Church. He married Armeda Snow who was the daughter of the fifth president of the Mormon Church, Lorenzo Snow (1814-1901).

Scope and Contents Diaries, 1887-1895; correspondence, 1883-1897; financial records, Lehi, Utah, Ward record book; patriarchal blessings; mission records; and biographies of family members. Also included are the diaries of Butt's wife, Laura Ellen Bushman Butt, 1896-1897. The materials document William Butt's life in Lehi, Utah, and his service as a missionary for the Mormon Church to the Northern States.
