Contains journals, correspondence, mission papers, speeches and notes, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia concerning Cowley's mission to New Zealand, time as a student in Washington, D.C., his life as a mission president and Apostle, and the development of missionary activity in the South Pacific and Orient. Also included are an autobiography by Elva T. Cowley and Cowley family histories.

Many of the items relate to Lee's missionary activities in England and to his calling as a stake president.

Scope and Contents Contains material concerning Cowley's mission to New Zealand, time as a student in Washington, D.C., his life as a mission president and Apostle, and the development of missionary activity in the South Pacific and Orient, particularly New Zealand and Hawaii. Included are journals, photographs, correspondence, mission papers, speeches and notes, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia. Also contained are scrapbooks, post cards, envelopes, maps, film and film reels, and other ephemera.

Claude L. White papers

Scope and Contents Correspondence, diaries, a play script, and a missionary tracting book. The materials relate to White's activities as a missionary for the Mormon Church in the Northwestern States Mission from 1915 to 1917. The diaries are for the years from 1915 to 1916 and for 1963. Most of the correspondence are between White and family members, but some are also with Melvin J. Ballard, a Mormon official who became an apostle in 1919.
