A. Victor Brace letters

Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letters. All of the items were written in Whiterocks, Utah and were addressed to family members in Sutee, Pennsylvania. Brace writes mainly about family and personal matters including his work with the Indians. He apparently was a teacher on an unnamed reservation instructing an unnamed tribe of Indians.

Howard Rusk Long correspondence

Scope and Contents Correspondence. Most of the items date from the 1930s to the 1980s, but some newspaper clippings date from 1844. The materials document Long's journalsitic and teaching careers. He taught for two years at Southern Illinois University. Long organized the International Conferenece of Weekly Newspaper editors. The official publication of the organization was the "Grassroots Editor."

The clippings relate to research Zucker made on the poet William Ellery Leonard (1876-1944). The petitions were designed to get the U. S. and the U.
