Scope and Contents

Photocopies of a typewritten autobiography. Cazier was born in Ordham County, Kentucky. His family moved to Illinois in 1841 where he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1845. He later moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1850. He settled at Nephi, Utah, in 1851 and later married polygamously. Cazier also writes about his family life.

Caroline Barnes Crosby autobiography and diary

Scope and Contents These materials were photocopied from microfilm copies of handwritten items. Caroline Crosby wrote about her early life in Massachusetts and Canada. She married Jonathan Crosby in 1834. She was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1835. She lived in Kirtland, Ohio, and later moved to Indiana. Ebenezer Crouch autobiography

Scope and Contents

Typescript of an autobiography. Crouch was born in Tumbridge Wells, Kent, England; migrated to America in 1856; and came to Utah in 1859. Crouch tells about encounters with Ute Indians, describes Orrin Porter Rockwell, and writes about being married polygamously. He lived in numerous places in Utah and had several occupations.

Cummings' autobiography covers his early life when he lived in Ohio and Navuoo, Illinois, served on a mission to Maine, and left Illinois for Utah. Scope and Contents The collection includes copies of the diaries of Charles Dalton (1810-1891) and John Luther Dalton (1843- ). Charles was an early convert to the Mormon Church, lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, and was an early pioneer to Utah. His diary is a fifteen-page typescript covering the years 1855 to 1858 during which he served a Mormon Church mission to the Indians of Idaho. Much of the correspondence is between Dame and General Authorities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
