Henry Green Boyle diaries
Brief history of William Cook Prows
This collection consists of a photocopy of a handwritten biography of William Cook Prows. Prows was a pioneer to both Salt Lake City, Utah and Colonia Juarez, Mexico; a member of the Mormon Battalion; a gold prospector; a cooper; a horticulturist; and a polygamist. He was married to both Lodesky Ann Roberds and to Louisa Melinda James both of whom he took to Arizona. Then he took Louisa to Colonia Juarez due to the persecution of polygamists.
William Burton journal
Bound, typewritten, carbon copy of William Burton's journal (1841-1851), which includes extracts from Joseph Wood's journal (1839-1840). The record gives a detailed account of the journey to Utah with Brigham Young and Heber C. Kimball in 1848, missionary experiences, and some family genealogy.

Typewritten autobiography which describes emigration from England to Utah, 1842-1847, his church missions to California, England and Utah's Dixie and his experiences as an immigrant leader. Gives data on church positions, including his calling as president of the St. George, Utah Latter-day Saint Temple.
Johanna Christina Danielson Cannon personal history
Photocopy of a handwritten personal history. Cannon describes her emigration to Utah, her homesteading experiences there, and her marriage as a plural wife to Angus M. Cannon.
Biographical sketch of William Carter
Typewritten biography. Also included is a typewritten poem by Johnson. William Carter was a Mormon who lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, migrated to Utah in 1847, and lived in Salt Lake City and later in St. George, Utah. He was a polygamist who spent time in the Utah penitentiary for bigamy.
Talitha C. Avery Cheney autobiography and a biography
Albert Collard history
Photocopy of a typewritten history. The item states: "voyage of Ester Stevenson Grange and parents on the ship 'Martha Siddon,' told by Albert Collard, a boy passanger, 1855." Collard relates the conditions and hardships of a group of migrating Mormons. The voyage took place aboard the ship, "Martha Siddon."
