Scope and Contents

Handwritten and signed letter addressed to Mr. Walker and dated August 10, 1900. It concerns the expected arrival of Bell's family in New York enroute to England. It also states that Bell accepts Walker's offer to leave Bell's son Archie in Walker's care during the abscence of their family. Bell also writes about the market for "mobiles."

Biographical History

William Abraham Bell was an American capitalist, railroad builder, founder and developer of towns in four western states. Born in Ireland but spent most of his adult life in Colorado.
