Hansen, geologist, concerning his experiences in Richfield, Utah; as a student at Utah State University, 1915-1918, as a missionary in England, as a faculty member and administrator at Brigham Young University from 1927, and on later work at a university in Java. Includes transcript and sound recording.

Biographical History

George H. Hansen (1896-1981) was a geology professor and administrator at Brigham Young University, who served as dean of the graduate school between 1954 and 1957. Hansen spent time in Indonesia establishing a geology department at the Gadjah Mada University in Jogjakarta, Indonesia.
