Scope and Contents
Contains bound reports of Brigham Young University finances from 1950 to 1984; some years are not included in the collection. Also includes a letter from the Church Auditing Department concerning the 1971 reports, and annual financial reports from university colleges and other units.

Administrative History
Financial Services at Brigham Young University was an office that oversaw the awarding of scholarships and grants from 1968 to 1989.
Financial Services began overseeing all financial aid in 1971. This office awarded scholarships and grants to students. The director of Financial Services was Lyman J. Durfee (1968-1980). Financial Services oversaw awarding of scholarships which were awarded based on financial need and academic achievements. Scholarships ranged from one to four year renewable scholarship.
In 1980, Financial Services became Financial Aids to oversee all matters of Financial Aid. By 1989, Financial Aids was made a subunit within Admissions and Records and no longer had its own director. The director of Financial Aids was Ford A. Stevenson (1980-1989).
