Administrative History

University Personnel Services evolved out of the Placement Bureau, or Placement Center, which initially provided placement services for graduating students. B. Keith Duffin was recruited by Ernest Wilkinson in 1952 to organize and direct a placement service. The Bureau evolved over the years under the direction of Keith Duffin until his retirement in 1984.
