Biographical History

Dan W. Wakefield (born 1937) is an American businessman in Utah.

Dan W. Wakefield was born on November 23, 1937 in Utah to Thomas Lynn and Helen Whitesides Wakefield. He attended Brigham Young High School in Provo, Utah, graduating in 1955. He attended Brigham Young University in 1959. He then served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Samoa in the 1960s.

Wakefield later returned as to Samoa as a businessman, and was involved in a number of initiatives including the establishment of the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum, the development of a cattle breeding program, and a local youth center.
