Isaac Rogers letters
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of handwritten and signed letters. Most of these items are dated from 1835 to 1848, were written by Isaac Rogers Junior n New York City, and were sent to Lester Tinker Rogers, 2nd in Connecticut. Some were written when Isaac was in Oregon. Isaac writes about his life and business activities. In the letters written in the late 1840s, it is obvious that Isaac had joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Also included is a poem written by Lester Tinker Rogers, 2nd in 1904 and dedicated to John Rogers who was executed by Mary Tudor in England. Lester Tinker Rogers, 2nd., Isaac Rogers, Jr.
