Charles Ludwig Olsen autobiography
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a handwritten autobiography. Olsen writes about his birth in Norway, his migration to Salt Lake City, Utah, and his life in Santaquin, Utah. He played dance music in many places in Utah and was tried by a Mormon court for inviting people to a public dance. He later settled in Salem, Utah, and continued to play his violin at dances. He travelled to many towns in Utah and Arizona. He later moved to Payson, Utah. Olsen served on a mission for the Mormon Church in Germany, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. He became a medical doctor and worked in Brigham City and Salt Lake City, Utah.
