Includes original poetry; significant information about her husband, Joel C. Barlow, their children, and other family members; and photographic images. Also includes autobiographical sketches of her parents, Parley P. Parrish and Elizabeth Collings Parrish; and biographical sketches of her grandparents, James Collings Jr., Frances Phoebe Rich Collings, Joel Parrish, and Elizabeth Bratton Parrish.

Custodial History

Carol Ottesen, historian of the Emeritus Alumnus Association, telephoned and invited Frances Barlow to share a copy of her personal history with University Archives, as part of the Professional Papers Program. Brian Reeves borrowed the original history from Sister Barlow on 22 September 1999, and had it photocopied for the archives.
