Scope and Contents

Manuscript and photocopy of map (25 x 40 cm. folded to 25 x 20 cm). Comments on the progress of the Methodist Church in the area, including a religious meeting where a "girl was prostrated under the overwhelming power of God". Mentions that there are both English and German Methodists in his area, and comments on the progress of the church in nearby Lehigh County; the near completion of a church in Allentown; and receiving help from Methodists who had arrived from New Jersey. Also discusses his health and feelings of faith. Also mentions presiding under [B?] Higgins. A second folder contains a photocopy and a transcription of the letter. The transcription was made by the Department of Special Collections at Brigham Young University.
