Scope and Contents
Young photographs, 1890-1980 collection contains 309 photographs, 17 slides, 93 negatives, 4 filmstrips, and 5 transparencies of Native Americans, the Mormon colonies in northern Mexico, and family photographs.

Open to public access. Negatives restricted; Kept in cold storage; requires 24 hours advance notice to access collection.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances. Permission to publish material from Young photographs must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.
Biographical / Historical
Young was a professor of English and French at BYU from 1930 to 1971. He was also an author.
