Collection includes 1162 photographs of the Carey family taken between the 1900s and the 1970s. The photographs document the acting careers of the Carey's, including movie stills, portraits, and personal photographs.

Biographical / Historical
The Carey family was a family of actors in California. Harry Carey (1878-1947) moved to California from New York to join the film industry where he worked as a character actor. His son, Harry Carey (b. 1921), also went into acting. Both were known for their performances in Western films.
