Biographical / Historical

Harriet Virginia Steele was born on April 7, 1873, to parents Orville Clark Roberts and Mary Knowlton Coray in Mona, Utah. She married Charles Milton Steele on March 6, 1893, in Jackson, San Juan, New Mexico. Together they had 15 children. She and her husband migrated to Rangely, Colorado, where they started their farm that they lived on until her death on October 4, 1961.
