Biographical / Historical
The Probst family was headed by Reed G. Probst (1903-1949), a World War II veteran. His family included his wife, Cleopha R. Probst, and their children Reed R., Merrill T., and J. Brent Probst. Due to illnesses contracted during the war, Probst was unable to find steady employment in the following years. In 1949 Probst and his wife died in a murder-suicide.
