Biographical / Historical

Allen Grant Wallihan was born on June 15, 1859 in Footville, Wisconsin to Pearce Wallihan and Lucy Lament Flower. He married Mary Augusta Higgins on April 19, 1885. After her death in 1922, he married Essie Cook on September 26, 1927. He was an American photographer, focusing primarily on pictures of game and animals in their natural habitat. Wallihan always went by the name A.G. Wallihan. He died on December 19, 1935 in Moffat, Colorado.
