Biographical History

John M. Lundquist (1938- ) is an author, librarian, egyptologist, and photographer in Utah and New York City.

John Milton Lundquist was born on September 22, 1938 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Milton Rocine and Mildred Toolson Lundquist. John received a Bachelor in History, a Master of Library Science, a Master of Arts in Near Eastern Studies, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Near Eastern Studies between 1970 to 1983. He is currently the Susan and Douglas Dillon Chief Librarian of the Asian and Middle Eastern Division at the New York Public Library. John is the author of many books, specifically of By Study and Also By Faith.
