Biographical History
Naomi Barlow Larson (1923-2010) was a Mormon homemaker who served family and friends throughout her life.
Naomi Barlow Larson was born on April 30, 1923, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the fourth child to parents Elbert and Alberta Sweeten Barlow. The family lived in Utah, Idaho, and California while she was growing up. On June 24, 1942, Naomi married Clinton Foster Larson (BYU professor and renowned poet) in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they eventually settled their home in Utah.
An enthusiastic and loyal supporter of her family, Naomi served quietly behind the scenes at home and in public, exploring new technology, expanding old knowledge, inspiring, teaching, learning, and serving.
Larson died on April 14, 2010, in Provo, Utah.
