Scope and Contents
Nicholas Low and Augustus Fleming correspondence includes fifty-three letters. Most of the correspondence consists of letters from merchants and business associates in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and elsewhere, and concern land transactions, trade, business accounts, and personal matters. The letters written to Low are concentrated from 1792 to 1828, while Fleming's correspondence dates 1806 to 1858. The collection dates from 1792 to 1858.
