Scope and Contents note

The Muriel Heal Bywater papers contains photographs of Muriel, newspaper clippings, newsletters, her lists of winning poetry, and published material. Many of the papers are from when Muriel was the president of the National League of American Pen Women in Utah from 1972-1974, and her "Salt Tablets," a newsletter for the association. Also contained are three books entitled, "Writing for Fund and Funds," "Utah State American National League of American Pen Women 50th Anniversary," and "Utah State National League of American Pen Women in Review," to which she contributed.
