Scrapbook of newspaper clippings about 19th century archaeological and geological discoveries in Assyria and Babylon. There are articles about spouting caves, laws before Moses’ time, inscriptions of Nebuchadnezzar, sun worship, Babylonian inscriptions, Babylon’s 5000-year-old temple library, discovery of papyrus with more of Christ’s teachings, lake dwellers of Venezuela, turquoise mines of Persia, “Cabbala” Jews, Turkish medical superstitions, Hindu burials, astrology and an Egyptian fairy tale.

Publications with clips in this collection are the Sunday School Times, Popular Science News, The Literary Digest, The Chicago Times-Herald, Christian Herald, Collier’s Weekly and Scientific American Supplement.
