Sarah Patterson journal
Scope and Contents
Journal includes an autobiographical account of Patterson's life, as well as daily entries on her activities between 1898 and 1903. Entries are made regularly between 1899 and 1901, with occasional entries after that time. Generally relates to daily activities and her work with the Relief Society. Also includes accounts of various deaths in the community.

Biographical History
Sarah Patterson (1867-1906) was a Mormon woman from Bloomington, Idaho. She was active in the Church, and served as president of the Relief Society from 1897 to 1906.

Custodial History
Journal was preserved by Patterson's daughter, and donated to L. Tom Perry Special Collections by her grandchildren. It was held as part of the Ed. Hart collection until it was separated in 2003.
