This manuscript was written by Nalani Young Wight and Karla C. Erikson and details some of the experiences of Kay Young. It contains accounts of his experiences in World War II through journal entries, as well as his experiences at Brigham Young University where he served as Student Body President in 1946.

Biographical History

Nalani Young Wight, daughter of Kay Young, wrote this manuscript. Kay Young was elected Student Body President of Brigham Young University in Spring, 1946. He served with Vice President Marvel Murphy, daughter of Castle H. Murphy. They later married. Kay Young was also a veteran of World War II where he served as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945.
