Biographical / Historical

The Bonneville Ward, located in Provo, Utah, was organized on 16 Feb. 1913. The first bishopric included Benjamin Hart Bullock (bishop), Orson D. Campbell (first counselor), J. Leo Hafen (second counselor), and John E. Stein (clerk). The ward met in the Bonneville Chapel, located at the corner of Third South and Sixth East in Provo, until its demolition in 1965.

Custodial History

Photograph was given to Morris S. Buchman, bishop of the Provo 10th Ward, by Benjamin Bullock on 15 Apr. 1962. It eventually came into the possession of the Slate Canyon 40th Ward, Provo Stake, whose bishop donated it to the L. Tom Perry Special Collections.
