Scope and Contents

"The Mormon Pioneers" is the seventh album in the Columbia Records Legacy Collection and was produced by Goddard Lieberson with the aid of the Special Projects Staff: Charles Burr. Joan Meyers, Ira Teichberg, David Rubinson, John Simon, and Arlene Steibel. The songs contained in this album are songs that the Mormon pioneers sang as they migrated West and settled in Utah. The collection contains one 33 1/3 record of "The Mormon Pioneers"; a cassette tape copy of the record; and a printed guide to it.
