Carl S. Hawkins was a professor at the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, 1973-1991; acting dean of law school, 1975-1977; dean of law school, 1981-1985.

Custodial History note

Jack Welch, BYU Law School, handed the material to LeGrande Fletcher, a librarian in the Howard W. Hunter Law Library. Fletcher passed it to Brian Reeves, University Archivist, on September 15, 1999. Late in 1999 and in early 2000, Fletcher sent additional items that he felt should be included in the collection.
