Includes a brief grammar and vocabulary guide to Ixil prepared in 1824 by the parish priest at Nebaj, El Quiché, Guatemala, for his successors. Contains parish accounts, text of the marriage service in Spanish and Ixil, a short catechism with portions in Spanish and Ixil, a short catechism with portions in Spanish and Ixil, and an appended translation of material relating to marriage preliminaries.
