The things people say : LDS sacrament meeting folklegends / Amilyn Aldrich, 1994

 Item — Box: 114, Folder: 6
Identifier: FA 1 Item 1193

Scope and Contents

Amilyn Aldrich collected personal narratives about things people have said over the pulpit in testimony meetings held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Included are stories about a man singing his testimony to a strange tune he made up on the spot, a man admitting to lustful thoughts towards the Relief Society president, and a little girl being asked what only boys have that starts with a P and answering "penis" rather than the intended "priesthood". Project was written for an English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University during Fall semester 1994.
