Scope and Contents note
Materials contain a letter from Vernon L. Prescott's daughter briefly outlining her father's areas of combat. Also includes photocopied photographs of Prescott, both in uniform and with a tank. Contains a photograph of the Remagen Bridge on the Rhine, intact, as captured by the 9th Division. Also has a newspaper article entitled "Kamas Family Gives Live Impetus to War Effort for Two Generations," which highlights the military service of Prescott and his brothers, Ted, Carl, and Bill Prescott. Dated approximately 1945, February 8, 2001.
