Scope and Contents note

Mathews collected folklore surrounding the baking and decorating of cakes. Included are descriptions of cakes baked for weddings, birthdays, and scouting events, and narratives of specific cakes and the way they were decorated. The project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
