Basketball superstitions / Tana M. Hallows, 1997
Scope and Contents note
Hallow collected narratives of rituals and superstitions practiced by basketball players. Included are the traditions of eating fries with an entire bottle of ketchup, wearing lucky boy scout socks, and wearing specific numbers when playing the game. The project was written for Dr. Rudy's English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
