Letter written by Whitney from Honolulu, Oahu, dated July 13, 1855, to his wife Joanna Whitney regarding his arrival in Honolulu from the island of Kauai and mission news. On the same sheet, includes a letter from John T. Caine to "Dear Friends," with apparent reference to the Whitney family, also dated July 13, 1855, with news of the mission and expressions of gratitude to the Whitney family.
