BYU Folklore / Caleb Warnock, 1997
Scope and Contents note
Warnock collected stories about the rumor that Brigham Young University was going to be sold by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and stories about Honor Code infractions. Included are rumors that the school would be sold because it was a poor investment of tithing money, because its students weren't living up to the Honor Code and were therefore not representing the Church well, and stories of professors fired because of their evolution or pro-choice stances. The project was written for an English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
