Materials contain the memoir of Douglas Hardy regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1941-1946. Writes about his different assignments in Morocco, Sicily, Italy, France, Austria, and Germany. Also writes about his family and his connection to and activity in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Explains that some combat situations can be terrifying and lists several of the deaths that he witnessed in war. Finally mentions photographs of his experience. Dated approximately 2001.
