Submitted by BYU student Darlene Spencer for her Winter 1980 English 392 class. A collection of Hawaiian superstitions and and their purpose in Hawaiian society. Contains a cover essay, autobiographical sketch, list of informants, and informant items. Items include superstitions of god and goddesses, the superstitions of men and the body, the superstitions of places and buildings, the superstitions of the Hawaiian language, evil spirits, and luck.
