Materials contain a memoir written by Florin M. Rose regarding his service as a sniper in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-1946. Memoir discusses combat experiences during the battles in Normandy, St. Lo and Brest, including narrow escapes from sniper fire and artillery, taking German prisoners, and difficult experiences (including being wounded) during the Battle of the Bulge. Includes two photocopied photographs of Rose. Dated before 2000.
