Scope and Contents note
Materials contain Ferrel W. Bybee's autobiography regarding his military service during World War II. Discusses his experiences in Europe, including the capture of Wurzburg, Schweinfurt, Nurnberg, and Titmuning; his participation in occupational duty in Helein and Salzburg, Austria; his work in processing camps and evidence gathered in Austria about concentration camps; and his contact with a German Latter-Day Saint soldier, Paul Guildner. Includes brief forward by Bybee's daughter, Colleen Bybee Hales. Included in the autobiography are photocopied documents relating to his military service. Also includes Bybee's history with Guildner and a photo of them outside the Swiss temple in 1983, as well as a copy of "Yank" magazine dated September 21, 1945. Dated 1945, 2000.
