Materials include interview with Dennis Beebe recounting her father's experiences as a medic in North Africa during World War II. She talks about her father's training in Texas and his dislike for working with female nurses. Recalls that her father wanted to be an engineer rather than a medic and describes pictures she’s seen of her father in Egypt. Also describes their diet and talks about how difficult it was to stay sane while waiting for action. Dated October 2003.
